Duolingo ProID
Your Duolingo ProID is a randomized line of letters and numbers saved on your web browser locally while you’re using Duolingo Pro. If you switch to another web browser, web browser profile, or reset your web browser, you will have a different ProID while using Duolingo Pro.
Privacy
Your privacy matters, a lot. That’s why we switched from our email based feedback system to a more private feedback system. Your ProID is not associated with your Duolingo account or any other accounts/credentials you have. It’s only connected to Duolingo Pro, and nothing else. When you are sending feedback, only your ProID, feedback letter and feedback type is sent, no other data.
Why Does This Matter
The Duolingo ProID system helps us keep track of issues and requests better, while helping everyone send feedback easier. We can sort which problems are happening more frequently and what needs to change sooner.
